The mountain rescue headquarters for the TV series is located in the center of Ramsau am Dachstein - below the Protestant church. This office is where emergency calls are received and the daring rescue missions of the TV heroes are planned and launched. When the mountain rescuers' jeep is not in action, it is parked in front of the headquarters.
The premises are only used for filming the TV series. The operations center of the real mountain rescue team is located in another building in the village.
The house in which the mountain rescue headquarters is located is the so-called "Pehab Zuahäusl". It is owned by the Prugger family, the bosses of the Hotel Pehab, which is located directly opposite.
Parking:
The mountain rescue headquarters is a popular place and a popular photo motif, so please do not park your car directly in front of the building. There are plenty of parking spaces just a few minutes' walk away at the church and at the Dachstein Event Center.
Tip:
The guided hike "In the footsteps of the mountain rescuers" takes place on Fridays from May to October. You can also visit the set.
