Sommercard Special

1^st Day: Individual arrival in region Schladming-Dachstein.

• Overnight stay in Ramsau or Schladming.

2^nd Day: Take advantage of the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard during your two days stay – for hiking bus, cable cars, price-reduced entrances and many more.

• Overnight stay in Ramsau or Schladming.

3^rd Day: Cable car to the Dachstein glacier – alpine hike on route 674 to Guttenberghaus.

• ca. 9,5 km, 4 - 5 hrs, altitude difference ascent 264 m / descent 861 m
• Alternative route through the valley to Guttenberghaus if weather conditions are not stable.
• Overnight stay at the Guttenberghaus.
• Luggage transfer from the Türlwand to Gröbming where you spend the following night
• Overnight backpack and sleeping bag for the night in the Guttenberghaus has to be carried by yourself!

4^th Day: High altitude hike from Guttenberghaus over the plateau “Am Stein” and Grafenbergalm to the Stoderzinken.

• ca. 13 km, 6 hrs, altitude difference ascent  552 m / descent  860 m
• Overnight stay at the Steinerhaus above Gröbming.

5^th Day: Hike from the Stoderzinken over the Notgasse (500 m long rock gorge with up to 2,000 year old chiselled rock art) to the Brandalm mountain pasture – back over Brandmoos past the “Rote Wand” to the Bruennerhütte and further back to the Stoderzinken.

• ca. 15 km, 7 - 8 hrs, altitude difference ascent 1,169 m/ descent  1,169 m
• alternatively enjoy a relaxing day at the hotel.
• Overnight stay at the Steinerhaus above Gröbming.

6^th Day: After a hearty mountain breakfast - transfer from Steinerhaus to Türlwandhütte or the village Ramsau or Schaladming - your starting point.
