The highest natural pharmacy at 1,600 m! The precious natural remedy mountain pine oil has been extracted on the Planneralm for over 50 years. Decades ago, the abundance of mountain pines prompted the construction of a mountain pine distillery. In order to meet the increasing demands, the old distillery was replaced by a new one.
The renewable raw material mountain pine is still typical of the Planneralm landscape today. To ensure the high quality of the essential oil, mainly the young shoots are harvested and processed. The oil obtained is used to make the purest natural products for health and well-being. The shoots are also used to make tinctures, teas and other natural products.
