Wonderful cross-country ski trail with a circuit of the Spechtensee lake, which is idyllic whatever the season.

Turn-by-turn directions
From the valley station you first run eastwards in the direction of the Spechtenseehütte and there - slightly downhill to the Spechtensee lake. In an anti-clockwise direction, you now go around the lake and over two loops a little further east, before you make your way back towards the Spechtenseelift.
Getting there
Leave the B145 Salzkammergut highway at Klachau/Zlem in the direction of Wörschachwald and follow the Wörschachwaldweg for about 6 km to the Spechtenseelift.

Car parking is available at the Spechtenseelift.
