The Panorama Run
moderate open Running · Schladming
The running tour begins at the Gollobsteg pedestrian bridge over the Enns close to congress Schladming and corresponds to parts of the Roman Walking Tour and Variant A of the Tauernblick Tour. The run spans 70 vertical meters and 14.3 km out to Stegerbrücke bridge in the suburb of Obere Klaus and back.
You cross the Gollobsteg pedestrian bridge make a left and run through the WM-Siedlung residential area to the railroad embankment. Make a right and follow the rails until you reach the grade crossing near the road turnoff "Birnberg". Run up the Birnberg road for a few meters and make a left onto a nice forest and meadow trail (the "Roman Tour"). Run along the trail until you reach "Hochstraße" road, which was first constructed by the Romans more than 1,000 years ago (thus the name "Roman Tour" for the walk). You continue on this road, cross over the provincial highway towards Ramsau and stay on Hochstraße road until you reach a waypoint below the Reitsportarena Schladming at the Huberhof farm where you make a left towards the Stegerhof farm.
Via the pedestrian underpass you cross below the federal highway B320 and eventually also the bridge over the Enns river. After the bridge make a left and continue along the Enns trail back towards the town of Schladming. Along the beautiful Enns trail you jogg back to your starting point at the Gollobsteg pedestrian bridge behind the congress center Schladming.
The closest bus stop is at WM-Park Planai at the valley terminal of Planai gondola - bus stop "Planet Planai". From there follow the yellow signage of "Enns tour" hiking trail to the starting point at "Gollobsteg" pedestrian bridge, which is situated next to Hotel Vital and close to congress Schladming.

The surface along The Panorama Run is generally easy and without technical difficulty. However, once you turn off Birnberg road you run along a trail with roots and a country lane partially covered with grass - therefore it can be uneven.
Trail running shoes are recommended.Tourist information: www.schladming.com
